Silence in Heaven for Half an Hour

If you've ever read the Gospels, you've seen it, time indicated by hour of the day instead of the familiar, modern, hour of the clock (O' Clock for short.) All the times of day given in the Bible's original languages are written as hours of the day, not the modern hour of the clock.

Bible Clock Manual

The hour and minute hands on the Bible Clock use the same positions at the same time of day as the hour and minute hands on a regular clock. To set the time, simply turn the time setting knob located on the back of each clock until the hour and minute hands are in the same position as they would be to tell the current time as on a regular clock.

Setting Bible Clocks

The hour and minute hand on Bible Clocks are at the same location, at the same time, as the hour and minute hands on a regular 12 hour North American style analog clock.

Bible Clock Shows

This page lists the places where we've sold Bible Clocks. The entries are dated with the most recent shows at the top. We want to extend our gratitude to everyone who has expressed interest in Bible Clocks and taken time to talk with us. We especially thank those who have advanced the message by purchasing a clock. Many thanks.

I was in the habbit of attending a Friday night prayer meeting. It usually started around 8:00 PM and would typially run until 3:00 AM. The meeting started with 2 or more hours of worship, and then turned to prayer and practicing the prophetic.

Standard Time

The first step in understanding modern clocks is to strip off recent additions, leaving the essential parts. There are 2 key things that must be removed in order to reduce a modern mechanical clock to its essential parts. The first, is the modern strategy for setting clocks, the use of Standard Time.

Clocks as Mechanical Sundials

Mechanical clocks as we know them now are a relatively modern invention. Their purpose is to provide an indoor, all-season, mechanical measure of time.
