I was in the habbit of attending a Friday night prayer meeting. It usually started around 8:00 PM and would typially run until 3:00 AM. The meeting started with 2 or more hours of worship, and then turned to prayer and practicing the prophetic.
One Friday I went to a one-time Revival meeting before the prayer meeting. The Revival meeting began with worship, included a typical Revival sermon, and then ran late. When the Revival meeting was finally over I realized I still had time to get in on the tail of my regular prayer meeting since several hours would still remain.

I walked into the room of the prayer meeting and looked over at the clock to see how late I was to the meeting. The clock looked something like that displayed here.
As soon as I could see the clock, the Holy Spirit began to speak. "The clock is wrong!"
When someone says the clock is wrong, they usually mean the time is not set correctly, but this night it was different.
Without thinking I answered, "Yes, I know, the clock is up-side-down."
Almost instantly came the response, "That's not the only problem, look again."
I looked again.
Thus began an adventure into the nature of clocks and how the Bible tells time.
In this tutorial I take you through the steps I went through to derive what I believe is the proper stucture of Bible Clocks.
To fully understand the problem, and its solution, this tutorial starts with the way clocks work, something that is taken for granted by most people reading clocks. It then proceeds to make various corrections until the final form of a genuine Bible Clock can be shown.
The first step is to look at the nature of mechanical clocks as a form of mechanical sundial.
